THANKSGIVING 2009
IT HAS BEEN SAID IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS THAT WE HAVE TO SHARE WHAT WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN IN ORDER TO CONTINUE RECEIVING…. THUS THIS SHARING.

WE EACH PLAY A MAJOR PART IN REMOVING NEGATIVITY ON THE PLANET. WE ARE ALL RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD… WE ALL PLAY A PART IN EITHER MAKING THIS WORLD MORE LOVING AND PEACEFUL OR MORE UGLY AND VIOLENT.

WE MUST INQUIRE AND BECOME VERY AWARE OF EXACTLY WHAT CONDITIONING IS KEEPING US IN UNNECESSARY ANGER, WHAT CONDITIONING KEEPS PULLING US BACK INTO THE STATE OF DISCORDANCE . TRUE INQUIRY IS NOT AN ANALYTICAL PROCESS… TRUE INQUIRY IS EXPERIENTIAL. LIFE WILL ALWAYS SHOW US WHERE WE ARE STUCK, WHERE WE ARE NOT CLEAR ABOUT THE REALITY OF THINGS AND WHERE WE ARE NOT BEING TRUTHFUL TO OURSELVES. BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP SHOWS US CLEARLY WHERE WE GET HUNG UP.

LIFE IS ABOUT SEEING WHAT CAUSES DIVISION WITHIN US. IT IS WHAT DIVIDES US WITHIN THAT NEEDS TO BE HEALED. IF WE ARGUE WITH WHAT IS, WITH REALITY, FOR ANY REASON, WE WILL GO INTO DIVISION. REALITY IS SIMPLY WHAT IS, IF WE JUDGE IT OR CONDEMN IT OR SAY IT SHOULD NOT BE THE WAY IT IS, WE FEEL DIVISION. WHEN EVER WE FEEL EMOTIONS OF ENVY, JEALOUSY, BLAME, GREED, ETC. WE KNOW WE ARE PERCEIVING FROM THE STATE OF DIVISION. THESE EMOTIONS ARE REMINDERS THAT WE ARE NOT PERCEIVING THE TRUE NATURE OF THINGS.

EMOTIONS LIKE ENVY, JEALOUSY, BLAME ETC. TELLS US THAT WE HAVE AN UNCONSCIOUS BELIEF THAT IS NOT TRUE. WE HAVE TO DEEPLY INQUIRE INTO THE NATURE OF THESE EMOTIONS AND SEE THE TRUTH. THESE EMOTIONS SURFACE ONLY WHEN WE BELIEVE OUR THOUGHTS..... WE HAVE TO SEE HOW THINGS REALLY ARE, RIGHT HERE AND NOW. LIFE ITSELF SHOWS US WHAT WE NEED TO SEE IN ORDER TO BE FREE, QUITE OFTEN THE EXPERIENCES THAT WE PUSH AWAY AND DO NOT WANT TO LOOK AT CONTAIN THE MOST TRANSFORMATIVE INSIGHTS WE NEED AT THAT MOMENT.

ONCE WE TRULY REALIZE THAT IT IS YOU AND I WHO PUT OURSELVES INTO CONFLICT, THAT NOBODY AND NO SITUATION IN OUR LIFE HAS THE POWER TO DO IT, WE RECOGNIZE THAT OUR EMOTIONS ARE GREAT REMINDERS THAT INVITE US TO LOOK DEEPER INTO WHAT IS CAUSING OUR CONFLICT… TO INQUIRE FROM A STATE OF NOT TRYING TO CHANGE OR ALTER WHAT IS….JUST SEEING ‘WHAT IS’ IN THE BRILLIANT LIGHT OF TRUTH. LOVE THE WORLD JUST AS IT IS… NOT AS IT COULD BE.

At this precious chapter in the book of time, we must all contribute BROTHERHOOD to the world more than ever. We have now gone beyond the self importance period of doing things for ourselves alone. Being we are all connected, the animals, plants, weather, earth, we must realize that self survival is only threatening the survival of all creation. Me, my family, my neighborhood, my city, my country just does not cut it any longer.... we must all move out of the me and into the we. We must all come together in the effort of changing the division within ourselves, seeing the inner conflict and the separation that causes us to act from states that are not healthy for ourselves, mankind or the planet.
We cannot change the problems with the same level of consciousness that caused them... we must all work on raising our level of conscious individually. If everyone were to begin living in a state of higher conscious, we just cannot imagine what the world would be like... we have no idea to be quite truthful, because we only can understand what we have already experienced. It feels like mankind has been broken into many fragments in the yesterdays and now the time has come to put all the pieces back together like a giant human puzzle... before it’s too late.

Each and every one of us has a major part to play in this game of life and we have to do it now for there is no time to waste and no time for fame or blame. If we all begin to live more consciously today we will see a change in the world tomorrow.

IDA isn't DOLLY...but thankfully she ain't IKE. Rode some okay waves on Monday...but sadly "buckled" my surf board -- major fender bender so to speak : (It's getting repaired $$, major surgery, and NO board. Always say every hurricane has it's personality and residual effect. Ida left her memory mark on my board, not in my heart that's for sure. 	HOSPICE & HOPE EV'RY DAY

MIL was never without dog in her life. When Alzheimer's robbed her of certain tasks - we scaffolded and provided needed care for her dog. A broken hip put her in a nursing home..and we could not bring her dog. At this point, the disease accelerated robbing her of speech and eating. She was seriously confused, depressed and not connecting to anything. Except the dog. Initially, Hope would lay down on the bed .. ... and I would see MIL connect by petting the Hope....

NO CANE WAVES/SUMMER WAVES GOODBYEA Low on the Gulf of Mexico 9/12-13 provided the Last Waves of Summer. A group gathered at my favorite break and we surfed till exhaustion.
